About the Committee The members of the Women’s Committee are appointed by the General Executive Board and are an integral part of the planning team for the annual Women’s Conference. They also promote awareness of current issues facing women members and assist in developing strategies to respond to those concerns. The Women’s Committee members possess the experience and leadership skills that are essential in creating a strong voice in the union for all working women in North America.
