Frank Gallegos
INTERNATIONAL TRUSTEE

In 1967, Frank Gallegos began working for Basic Vegetable, following the footsteps of his parents and many other family members who were members of Local 890 in Salinas, California. Under his guidance, after being elected President in 1985, Local 890 built innovative community programs like Citizenship Project, which has helped 10,000 people become citizens and voters.

Henry B. Perry, Jr.
INTERNATIONAL TRUSTEE

Henry Perry joined the Teamsters as a dockworker in 1970 and has been a tireless fighter for working people ever since. He rose through the ranks to become an organizer and a local officer. He was elected President of Local 667—the largest labor union in the Memphis area—in 2000. Perry’s strong background in political action and community service recently resulted in the Shelby County deputy sheriff’s unanimous decision to join Local 667.
