Eastern Region International Vice Presidents


Jack Cipriani
VICE PRESIDENT, EASTERN REGION

Jack Cipriani has compiled an impressive a record of saving Teamsters jobs, organizing new members, pioneering labor-management cooperation, and building a strong Local 391 in Greensboro, North Carolina. As an International Vice President and Director of the Brewery and Soft Drink Conference, he is focused on building Teamsters clout in organizing and political action. He has been President of Local 391 since 1995.

 

William Hamilton
VICE PRESIDENT, EASTERN REGION

William Hamilton, a Teamster since 1966, has served at many levels of Teamster elected office. He was elected President of Local 107 in 2000, a position he still holds. In his time at the local, he organized many new Teamsters, and worked closely with freight and DHL members. Hamilton was appointed as an Eastern Region International Vice President in early 2008.

 

Daniel J. Kane
VICE PRESIDENT, EASTERN REGION

Dan Kane is a 44-year Teamster. He has served at all levels of Teamster elected office and is active in the New York City labor community. He is the President of Local 111, on the Board of Directors for the Labor Research Association, and a founding member and Secretary-Treasurer of the Irish American Labor Coalition.


 


John Murphy
VICE PRESIDENT, EASTERN REGION

John Murphy has been an Eastern Region Vice President since 1998. He spearheaded merger negotiations with the Brotherhood of Locomotive Engineers and Brotherhood of Maintenance of Way Employes and now serves as Director of the Rail Conference. Murphy has also been the Secretary-Treasurer of Local 122 in Boston since 1980.
